50-60 feet is quiet a ways for any router. The XR series would have better range then the R7000 does. However the additional EX7700 would do nicely as an extender to help with range for the XR450. To give a little info: we used to use the equipment Comcast gave us but it didn't reach far enough. Now it's just used as a modem. Our internet speed is 1000Mbps though I don't think I've ever done a speed test that reached that amount.
